Bomag Compaction
Bomag are the worlds leading manufacturer of compaction
equipment. Their relationship with TBF Thompson goes back
to 1985. The range of equipment available includes vibrating
plates, walk behind rollers, tandem rollers, landfill
compactors and pavers.
The Bomag Light Range Includes:
Tampers

Applications: Soil and asphalt compaction. Trenches
and pipeline projects, backfill, foundations, patching
and asphalt repair.

- Applications: Soil and asphalt compaction. Interlocking

Multipurpose Compactors
- Applications: Soil compaction. Trenches and pipelines,
backfill and foundations - wherever high mobility,
maneuverability and simple handling are required
on difficult soils.

Double Drum Rollers
- Applications: Soil and asphalt compaction. Construction
and maintenance of pavements, shoulders, walking and
cycle tracks, access and parking areas, sports
and playgrounds, forestry and estate roads.

Tandem Rollers
- Applications: Soil and asphalt compaction. Construction
and repair of small and medium jobs, parking areas,
foot and cycle paths, playing and sports areas
and connection works in asphalt construction.

Combination Rollers
- Applications: Soil and asphalt compaction. Compaction
of asphalt and surfacing on small sites with difficult
access. Specialist surfacing and adaption of
rubber tyres in edges and connecting areas. Foot and cycle paths, parking
areas, maintenance work.

Tandem Rollers
- Applications: Asphalt compaction. Highways and estate
roads; repair and maintenance; new construction; leisure
and sportsground developments;
frost protection layers and surfacing treatments
for highways and parking areas; split drum models offer
high maneuverability without surface damage; for
medium
to large scale contracts; runways and other civil
engineering applications.

Combination Rollers
- Applications: Compaction of asphalt layers. Highway
construction and maintenance projects, driveways,
sports and leisure
areas, specialist
surfacing works, frost protection layers, excellent
compaction, surface sealing and productivity
characteristics.

Pneumatic
Tyred Rollers
- Applications: Surface dressing; highway and airfield
construction and maintenance; special surfacing materials;
proof rolling;
lime and cement stabilised soils. The compaction
and kneading of the pneumatic tyres produces excellent
surface
sealing
results.

Single Drum Rollers
- Applications: All types of earthworks and sub-base
works, highway construction and maintenance, suitable
on water
bound materials,
sand, gravel, cohesive and
high water content materials. Hi-Climb models for
gradients,

Towed Rollers
- Applications: Medium to heavy duty earthworks.
Padfoot model for cohesive materials.

Refuse Compactors
